The Corporate Scorecards of the World Bank Group (WBG) provide an overarching view of the results and performance indicators of the Group’s three institutions: the World Bank (WB), the International Finance Corporation (IFC), and the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA). This is the final report of the first WBG-wide scorecard in which the World Bank, IFC, and MIGA aligned their respective Scorecards at the institutional level. Separate scorecards for the World Bank, IFC, and MIGA complement the WBG Scorecard. The Scorecards are critical tools for monitoring the WBG’s performance in key global and institutional priority areas.
The Scorecards are structured in three tiers.
The Scorecard has provided snapshots of results and performance indicators to the Board, WBG management, and the public as part of the institution’s accountability framework. Data are shown for three tiers - Tier 1 on development context and the poverty and prosperity goals, Tier 2 on results delivered through WBG operations, and Tier 3 on the WBG’s operational and organizational effectiveness. Where applicable, the Scorecards’ indicators are disaggregated by gender and fragile and conflict-affected situations (FCS), recognizing the strategic importance of these categories. Data for all tiers are updated annually in October. The FY19-23 reporting cycle of the Corporate Scorecards will end in June 2023. This latest issue of the WBG and WB Corporate Scorecards includes updated data for FY19 and highlights progress made in the past year and areas that need continued attention.
